You are so right. . .but now the elderly compete with the younger ones. . .it's crazy. . . And parents try to be there kids friends and be on there level. Then teach them the lord/right way of life. . .or they all about there self and don't care or know there own kids smh

I know that millenials have a reputation of being self centered but most people over 50 grew up in a time where you were not allowed nor could you afford to be very self-centered. Because when we were kids, it was about survival. I'm sure there may be some exceptions, however.

I know this was aimed towards women, but i don't care. I needed this. Most of my life, i have anchored how i look at myself as a man by what women thought of me. Im an orphan since age 11. Mom passed at age 10 on xmas day, 1972. It been hard but i met people who got me thru it and up in this cruel world. I was down, depressed, suicidal. There are people out there, go to a good church, meet others there, I was blessed to have a xian family for my foster years, some kids dont get this.
Almost skipped passed this because it said "women's speaker". I'm so glad I didn't. This was the perfect wisdom that I needed. No matter what sex or gender you are, the Bible's wisdom is for all. Thank you for this content. There's a few things in here I need to work on.

Capture every thought and compare it to the truth of the word (bible) and be not dismayed if things don’t work out try and try again, focus on having confidence not on the lack of it Be yourself and don’t try please other people. I find it difficult to take advise about confidence by those who use a filter on the film, obviously had high end make up and hair, etc… I would love to see someone teach about confidence that is middle of the road about grooming, etc… Actually walking the walk without using the best available exterior body looking care which is done to build confidence.

Hey everyone👋 I’m here looking for some answers. My mom is always struggling with trying to respect and respond to my overly harsh and verbally hurtful dad. He is a very strong and passionate believer which I admire very much but he never seems to think he is wrong when he clearly is even to my brothers, just pointing that out because you know, men think like other men, anyways he definitely has trouble accepting he is wrong and has a very short temper, he is definitely an amazing dad but he just doesn’t seem to realize that the things he says are hurtful, he usually just justifies it by saying “oh it’s because y’all are overly emotional women”. My question is as a wife how is my mom, or me in the future, supposed to be a “helper” as it says in the Bible, and obey our husbands without question if they are clearly in the wrong and don’t know how to calmly take “constructive criticism”. What exactly do you do in that situation? Thanks🙏
