Good stuff. You'll be fine with the teflon (which is just a trademark name of Dupont) tape, it's PTFE which is the same material that is used in braided lines that are rated for ethanol fuels. To make it simpler you can also run ⅜ line for both the feed and return line. 5/16 is an odd size for -AN as it's -5AN which is not really used as a size, so sticking with either -6AN or even -8AN for all the lines can reduce the amount of different lines and fittings you need to purchase.

Hi very interested in your video I have a 944s2. I would like to keep the stock fuel pressure regulator and damper can I still use the AN6 fittings or do I need additional fittings to connect both hoses in the engine bay. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you and great work Mark.

Hey Mark, There are kits available to replace the lines with an6. I believe larts parts on eBay has them and Devin lyons in the premier 944 turbo group on Facebook makes good sets as well. As for making your own, I'm not sure which adapters would be required to retain the stock damper. To retain the stock regulator I believe all you need is standard worm gear hose clamps to clamp the AN hose to the regulator.

Unfortuneatly I don't but Porsche should be able to help you out with that. That's where I picked mine up from.

Help I need a fuel rail and injectors for an 84 944 anyone can help with a website where I can purchase them from . They were stolen so now I need new ones

Not sure if you're looking for stock or not. But eBay for a stock rail. Lindseyracing.com for a billet aluminum with 6an fittings. And are you looking for stock injector replacements?

@@DeancentGarage I looked them up eBay but the ones I found are for models 86 and up so I don’t know if they would work but no luck finding the fuel rail . If u have affiliated links I’ll be more than happy to use them and save the headache

@@marOcean13 these are the injectors I have which are excellent uogrades over stock for moderate upgrades only though. They have a much better spray pattern. www.rockauto.com/en/parts/bosch,62203,fuel+injector,6224 As for the rail, eBay or Lindsey. The rails from 86 will work on turbo cars.

Oh ok. I would opt for a Lindsey fuel rail as you don't really want to be putting old fuel system parts back in your car. For the injectors I'm not sure what a good option for an NA is.
