In this video I build the throat protector, forearm vambraces, and leg armor for my English knight-armor set. Again sorry about the large gaps in between videos.

I’m currently making a sword/costume prop that wraps around my waist to look like it’s going through my body for a ghost-like cosplay and I’ve been watching all of your videos to see how you work with cardboard because I’m using a bunch of old boxes and recycled items thanks for the inspiration man!

I'm doing some armor for my little brother within this week, reviewing the things like the gauntlets, pauldrons, neck pieces, tassets, etc. Kind of daunting but I already have enough for a spartan(?) outfit. Thanks for the content to look at for this project. Good ideas.

I love the way it looks. I built mine before watching your videos so I had done it a bit differently but more than one way.

Your videos have been teaching me not just how to make the armor shown, but it’s also taught me so many useful methods with my other sets, thank you so much for the effort in these videos. (Also, sometimes the armor looks even better with a cloak/cape, adds a sick effect)

It would be good if you put the dimensions for the the arm and legs stuff since i had to improvise but i guess it wouldnt realy matter since were all different sizes
@MarksWorkshopcrft
@MarksWorkshopcrft Год назад
Well I’m not the same size as everyone else this might surprise you but I’m actually 6’2” so my armor would most likely be larger than everyone else my age you should practice drawling so you can sketch out your armor pieces; also I try to build them in small parts so i can adjust them on the way.

Yo I like the build, but how did you make the lower leg template so good? I know the process on how to make one, but when I tried doing it mine just looks like a deformed trapezoid instead like yours that actually keeps it shape and looks like a replica of your lower leg. You got any tips on how to make it look neater?
@MarksWorkshopcrft
@MarksWorkshopcrft Год назад
Yes! I used double thick cardboard for the legs and also make sure to bend the cardboard against the corrugated lines to reduce those trapezoidal angles you’re talking about. :)

Thank you for the demonstration. Do you expect the fastening systems you designed for the arm and leg coverings would support greater weight effectively if stronger material like laces or straps were used?

Hey you got tips on making 👀 power armor
@MarksWorkshopcrft
@MarksWorkshopcrft Год назад
I guess I should just build a power armor amount of requests I’ve gotten since 2019 to build one is vast I just don’t do it because I’m not that big of a fall out fan and I just wasn’t willing to spend time to build a power armor instead I was rather better off making Iron Man or knight armor I’m sorry you have to hear this long comment. It’s just the first time I’m putting it into real consideration to build power armor, I have made four mech suits, the fourth one is the reason I started my channel so if those earlier videos help go, check them out anything in my mech suit Series playlist

hey dude, I tried making leg armor but it isn't tight enough and keeps slipping down. I have tried everything you can think of. Any suggestions? plz help.
@MarksWorkshopcrft
@MarksWorkshopcrft Год назад
Yes Use elastic bands or some kind of strap or even duct tape with another piece on the sticky side so it’s not sticky and fix it to your abdomen armor if that’s not an option use the same materials to make straps/suspenders that go over your shoulders

Where are the templates?
@MarksWorkshopcrft
@MarksWorkshopcrft 2 года назад
I know people would find easier used templates but I do not use templates in nor do I have a way of providing them besides everyone’s legs are different sizes. However in 2:53 I try my best to show you how to make your own by covering your leg in tinfoil then duct tape and making drawling registration marks in seam lines which you can transfer on the foam or cardboard and then cut them out and put them together with a glue or tape. Hope that helps😁
