when me and my irls tested we found out that you actually nerf raiden by using electro dmg goblet , and atk is the go to. as her ER caps at 270 and electro dmg is converted by her skills, you would benefit more from that. Great video overall and really simple, everything else is spot on!

Skyward Spine Raiden user here. While it isn’t as good as the Catch numbers-wise, the crit rate boost can’t be ignored, and the attack speed boost carries over to her burst as well, which is handy because of how short the window of time to do damage with it is. With all of this on top of it being an ER weapon, it’s very serviceable as long as you’re not looking to minmax and are willing to handle the extra demand for a handful of ER substats, though with an ER sands and two ER substats on other artifacts, my Raiden is sitting at a comfortable 250-ish ER.

FYI Spine beats Catch, unless you need the CR difference, then again, Spine's applies to E as well as Q, while Catch's only applies to Q. Catch's burst damage buff is rendered null by Spine's higher Base ATK, and Spine gives an ATK speed buff that applies to Musou Isshin. The higher Base ATK also means E deals more damage. If you have it, use it.

disclaimer: if you don't have emblem of severed fate artifact's...then this gonna take you few months to build that damage or you can simply go for crit rate and crit damage and use a battery on team like Bennett or sucrose or others to build up energy rather than farming month's and still don't get gobelts or sands...trust me there are few friends of mine who have been farming from 1 years and months yet they don't have a Proper sands/goblet. it's always the feather and flowers. most of time i get shimenawa sets... so if you are just building then i suggest go for crit and crit damage artifact's since you will be having them before... i hope it helps 🙇

Thx, I needed this, now I just need to know how to unlock dungeons for those artifacts. As a f2p player my only options for weapons is prototype or the catch. The BP weapon isn't a option as I don't even have enough money to spare for that. I've had my Raiden Shogun since her first banner and she's currently holding the crescent pike. I don't have a single 5 star spear, I finally got my first 5 star weapon recently, but it's a bow. And the artifacts I have on her for right now is 2 piece berserker and 2 piece noblesse. Mostly artifacts I got from AR rewards and the adventure book

i recommend going for staff of homa cus hutao xiao zhongli as a dps is their best weapon in terms of damage and 2nd best for raidens damage

also a extra tip if you dont have sara or bennett or something you can do aggravate raiden just use raiden, sucrose/kazuha, nahida/dendro mc/collei, and a electro healer like kuki or a shield

wow, im siting here watching videos on raiden cuz i just got her first try. My first ever pull with pinogrems i think they're called. And i got her first try. i didn't even know she was good, i just liked her m1 attacks lol

Finally I learn how to build my dps, since I just got her and I am new to the game (dont even know how I got her on 0 pity in my first 10 pull) I've been just building her with Atk% and crit rate&damage. Luckily I randomly stumbled upon this video and now my raiden can deal 3x the damage she dealt when I changed her build (from 2k crit to 7.8k crit)

For raiden hypercaery you can swap out kazuha for sucrose if you dont have him. Sucrose wont do quite as well but is still really good cause with 4 pc viridescent she still decreases enemy resistance which is the most important part of an anemo support

She was my first ever pack and I instantly got her

Pretty sure hyperbloom raiden does the most dps but I could be wrong

You can also use xiangling yoymiya and Bennet for her and she does big boy damage

On er build The Catch actually outperform the primordial wing spear

funnily enough I have made her burst hit 50k using Mona and Sayu (with VV) and underleveled talents and suboptimal artifacts with a level 70 catch I first pop Raiden's skill for instant electro application, then swap to Sayu for skill use to swirl electro, swap to Mona (at the time she had wanderer's troupe so using a different artifact set will most likely boost further) then swap to raiden for burst use (the 4th unit in my team is Tighnari for hyperbloom this allows for swapping between insane burst damage and constant damage effortlessly)

I got the jade spear from the pulls from leaving her, muhoyo psyoping me to maining her and it's working

Why have I been wasting resin just to get electro dmg goblet when I could’ve kept my atk one-

This guide is honestly pretty accurate but if you dont get the emblem of severed fate and get shimenwas resistance instead do not use it because itll take energy away
