Many of your videos have been a huge help man! Thank you for all the work. I'm looking to build a room with this method but twice the diameter. So, I'm doubling the number of central uprights from 8 to 16 in the hopes that it will have a similar spacing as you have on the outside. I think that makes sense but it will probably go wrong somewhere. Hope life is going well for you good sir. :)

Lol I’m glad the videos helped you out! Building out more than just a single and it looking good is definitely possible, but like you said it requires a lot more snap points and a lot more work down the road. Good luck!

Yeah, I already hit a number of problems. Getting 16 into a quarter is a real struggle. Worse, having a room that is four logs wide means no way (that I know) to remove some outer columns (logs) to create openings without loosing the ceiling for that section. Struts only work for the inner ring. Man, I feel like I spend so long building things in this game that almost work. I expect you know that feeling well.

Idk I think they fucked up the building system if you have to use "glitches" to build basic things. It's simply too complex and off-putting to make nice looking things

Did the exact same thing, stacked 8 quarter logs together but then could not remove one that one log that connected the quarter logs with that construction. Anyway I managed to place a log over it. But I have no chance to get the angle where you are placing logs in a circle. I can only place like 3 logs in one quarter of the circle.

If something gets stuck connected to the "stacked" logs just chop the bugged one out it won't affect the stacked ones. If you're only able to put 3 logs down it's because of the corner one, i explain this and how to fix it around 01:55 in the video.

Food for thought as I just can't get this build out of the back of my mind. This is the concept. I wanted to turn my survivalist crap shack into something more of an elegant battle tower. I have a 3 story 2x2 base that can kill a demon boss without my firing a shot. Traps etc. But it works. 1st floor all walls. 2nd open with ele fence/spikes as a firing platform. 3rd solid walls with a flat roof for solar panels and observation. Your tower build worked out perfect except for except for my spacing!😄 1st floor solid walls. 2nd floor, open all the way around, everything resting on the central pillar, stone instead of half logs for headroom. 3rd solid walls, flat roof for solar panels again etc. The only problem is not being able to put any sticks up for an ele fence on top of any of the flat floors. With the leaping range of mutant V and even greater leaping range of the demon boss, I had to abandon the tower idea. Still, it made for a great afternoon as I was doing this in hard survival mode. Most fun I've had with the game in months! Keep thinking!🤪

it taaakes foooreverr rr r r r r r r !! but totally worth it!! it should be a buildbook blueprint, (and REAL round table and columns/pillars) and Kelvin can then help... *If you put more than 8 centers = then you can put the floor/joists closer together = bigger platforms, smaller gaps. more of my life wasted away 🤣😍but looks great!

These videos are great. How did you get it to let you attach so many stones in the center column? I can never get more than the initial amount of 12 quarter logs

Everything depends on the amount of logs you "stack" at the start. Extra snap points, how many stones you can place in the center etc. There's no limit to how many you "stack" in the beginning, if you do 12 you'll only get 12, if you do 40, you'll get 40.

@@Witsfool to be honest, i don't know i never really counted. if you use the method to stack in the pinned comment you can stack them EXTREMELY quickly.

Really hard to follow the instructions this time around. I used your guide in the early days and made many stone circles. this time you rush and when you talk about the logs its hard to know which ones you talking about and removing.
