“Ronni”(Jonni) is amazing. I used her recipe to create mask props for The Lion King Jr and they were kid proof. They’re lightweight and still look brand new after a few years. Thank you Jonni!
Such a gem of a channel! The content, editing and all are excellent! So glad these communities come together and work for the betterment of everyone! We need more channels like this and CrafsMan! My lil son is interested in what we are seeing and I couldn't be any more happier! Thank you for sharing your passion!
@@CajunCraftastrophe I make cards with chibi lights, eternity cards, and pop up boxes along with regular greeting cards. I can't wait to introduce my grandkids to your videos. Happy to meet you!
Love the video. You do great work. Piece of advise for trying heat shrink in the future. Use what is called double wall or adhesive heat shrink. it is almost solid when it cools rather than flexible like regular heat shrink. It's a bit more expensive, but not too bad. We use it in electronics to create strain relief on cable connectors. Also look into buying safety wire from some place like Harbor Freight. I think it's cheaper than so called craft wire, and it's the same stuff. While you're there look at getting you some safety wire pliers for doing things like attaching feet like at 9:09. Hope this helps.

Man, I really liked the lil aluminum foil tape puppet. I was seeing a "mummy" or a "ninja" character being created. You got me wanting to make something now. Just never thought it could be this easy. Got me some future projects planned when my life settles down a bit.
THAT'S what I want to hear!!!! Yay! I stayed away from stop motion for a long time because the puppets were too complicated for me. Then one day I said... "Wait a second." Thanks for coming by!
Thanks! It's such an easy one for people to get started with. You can make puppets using masking tape that are really detailed and work amazingly. Sometimes embracing the limitations of a medium is the key! : ) Thanks again!
This was amazing! I remember my best friend and I creating LEGO stop motion videos back when we were kids in the mid 90's. A lot of work, but so much fun! Ones imagination is boundless. I wish as adults more of us took time out to do fun stuff like this. I'm going to attempt some stop motion with my nephew this coming weekend. I sent him this video and he seems super psyched for it! Thanks T Nu...
Thank you so much! You're an amazing artist! Learned soooo much! Love stop motion, please make more stop motion videos, maybe teach us how to film stop motion with the puppets, such as how to pose them, move them, storyboard, set design, lighting and software, etc. ::::::::))))))))
Great vid, as I've come to expect. The stop motion video was utterly delightful. And I love that you share your wife's work, it's so sweet! Though I guess it helps that she's very talented as well. 😁
Thank you! Doing the stop motion film was fun. It was interesting to just start animating around a loose concept and then let the story organically form around that. I many times do the same thing with sculpting and will do more tutorials based around this improvisational aspect of crafting. Thanks for your support. It means a lot to me!
My girlfriend just started crafting with this clay, she used the same recipe. It's awesome stuff, super strong. Great for sculpting and making bases with. 🦾🤖
@@CajunCraftastrophe totally, she seems like a very sweet lady. I'll maybe go and let her know my girlfriend loves her recipe, and you sent me of course.👍
This the kinda stuff that the interwebs were invented for :) Such warmth and positivity and thought shines through, T-Nu - so if your pa starts rollin' his eyes again at your shenanigans, just get him to look down here at these comments. That should shut him up. For a while, at any rate...
Big Comment Ahead! The stop-motion was great and I want to thank you for making great content with love and care! Even though the stop-motion had no lip-sink, it was still VERY fun to watch! At the end I was really expecting her to grab the guitar and throw it in the fire, but that might just be me thinking that. Now while thinking about fire, I think it would be cool if you did a stop-motion with puppets of your friends for example, with a monster or something wondering the woods. It could start out with two pickup trucks driving down a trail, later stoping at a campsite surrounded by trees. A time lapse could go by as they built tents and get everything set up, or a time jump can go by cutting to night with you and the guys sitting by the fire telling stories. One of you can tell a scary legend about a monster lurking in the woods. And so on... (That is of course if this interests you, and by all means feel free to control the story how you want CraftsMan) Last thing, at 15:00, I think that would be one if not the best cheap way to make a mummy puppet.
Thanks for sharing!! That's amazing. I have not entered the Twitterverse yet, but this and your kind words are like food for the soul for me... or is it soul food? No, that's something different... I think I'm hungry.
I was led here by Crafsman as well. Great tutorial. The short itself, it kinda reminded me of those Tool videos like Sober, only way less dark and grim 👏👍
Fellow Southern neighbor and Artist from Mobile,Al. So happy to have newly subbed! Love to see some Cajun representation in the RU-vid Craft Community as well!
I love stop motion! I will keep this video for reference for future projects and builds! Keep it up! Looking forward to many more exciting ideas and tutorials! Love the originallity and style. The Crafsman has sent me.
Absolutely love this. So much genuine fun and creativity. I love your passion regardless of if anyone’s watching. I too was shocked that you only had 175 followers. This stuff is so great! I am from Indiana but work in a cajunrestaurant called Yats and really vibe with what you’re doing. Our owner is from down there and he is basically the most bad ass person I know. Y’all are so awesome
Just catchin' up on episodes T-Nu...I don't think you ever mentioned your wife was an artist.....NOT...Her art is excellent! does she have a channel here on the tube for painting and design?? I'm glad you feature her work in your vids!Love the tie-ins.....and a big thanks again to Crafsman for turning us on to your superb channel! Rock on my brother!
De. Light. Fullllllll. Just watch! You're going to be at 100k in no time now that the algorithm has you in it's chewy wheels. Brilliant content, friend. I can't wait to see what's next!
I have that Star Wars book somewhere around here. Is that the one that had electronics in it to play sounds? Like an updated version of the ones that came with a 45 rpm record? Or maybe that’s a pop-up book? Whatever it is, I have one. Obviously I haven’t seen it in a while. But it’s here. Someplace. I think.
Instead of them being so skinny can you add foil as like clothing to bulk them up wrap it with masking tape and paint the tape to look like clothes or would that make the “joints” harder to move? Thanks
Certain brands of Sports Tape work great over foam if you want to bulk out the figures. The Sports Tape adds a cloth texture which is very nice. Give that a try.
What’s the song/theme that comes on at 6:18? Did you write it or just use it? Either way I like it and was wondering if there’s a full version somewhere
Ah yes, the mellow song. I use a music service for some of my music (like this particular tune), I also have Carl Henry Brueggen who created several songs including the theme to the show. I'm working on a new tutorial now so finding the exact name of the song and where I got it is not possible at the moment. If you really need it hit me up via email and I'll dig out the name as soon as I can get to it.
Yeah, sort of. You can see in the video that the heads come off easily, so I would just replace the entire head. If you do any 3D printing then you could really go to town by creating a bunch of different heads/expressions that way. Thanks for watching.
I'm not sure what's going wrong then my friend. The things that I would check are to make sure you're NOT using DAP brand joint compound and that you are not using Elmer's SCHOOL glue. There is a big difference between that and Elmer's Glue ALL. One other thing is making sure there's not too much water in the mixture.@@MrHangman56
