It isn't that good,just soak the bottom turrets and tek tape the 2 gens,then use mek and destroy the rest and the top like 20 turrets are useless considering no one actually drops skelli from above

Shock quick tip for building in lunar, if you take off your tek legs you can press CTRL to punch instead of having to cancel the build placement to punch upwards.
if youre building this on gen 2 it needs to be done with metal double doors so it cant be broken as easily by tek tapi rushing and it needs a 1.2x forcefield over the gen box so it wont get dropped by a cannon. also dont use stairs for connecting foundations, instead use a fence foundation on the lowered foundation on the side of the higher foundi. when you do it you shouldnt be able to see the metal beads on the side of the foundi anymore.
@@TheRatKingpin it’s not hard to farm cannon balls and on a gen server a skiff is nothing to farm out. I’m writing this because I’ve seen it happen to one of these exact towers lol. I got insided a few weeks ago but we had the fattest gen 2 in the game. Before getting insided I had built 16 of these on that same server.
good old mag tower we would call them on fibercraft, been using these for a very long time on dedi as mag rushing is a thing, only with alot more turrets since cap is alot higher,
A good tip for the sky towers, put floating turrets all the way up in the middle, that way the sky tower is supported by the hatchframes as well, plus added protection
Only thing with the floating turrets. Is Tek can not fire straight down like Heavies can. Shouldn't still be a problem, but I have still had my floating turrets cheesed when using tek
@@qdog8367 just read Code Of Conduct and its not at all, its considered exploiting - Unintended building mechanics (such as floating structures, using the world barrier as a snap point)
Being able to build such complex structures like this is why ark will always have the best building mechanics of any game, just the complexity but also flexibility.
You realize that Out of all main stream survival games that implements building, ARK is the lowest in the standings? Devs have mentioned 1 if their biggest focuses in ark 2 is to fix the shitty building system… lols
dude any build designs you wanna cover, even simple basic stuff you should, anything you teach people is probably meta and will improve people so much more than all these pve guys out here showing off builds wiht no actual pvp experience
ayyy there right its just gen 2 broke the game so shut it the outcast is good he brings the best designs there are and pve ppl are right they do have pvp experience otherwise they wouldn't share that info
@@nationv2 but on flip side many racer builds can smack into a vault drop tower and kill it np at all something that it can't do here. With this build u basically gotta drop 64 double door frames spread over a 14x14 area. Your gonna need Alot of meks to do that with any sort of speed. Time will tell I suppose. But I see ppl using this more and more nowadays.
Can anyone tell me how to build the cage of a tower if it’s uneven? I saw a corner pillar and the got a big cage around their towers but idk how they built that because it was uneven

this is better than the vault one because like you said, the turrets will shoot from every part and on the vault one the turrets won t shoot and the second reason is that sometimes the turrets by the other sides will bug and shoot in the vaults. So don t waste your time to drop vaults on towers because it takes a lot of time and it doesn t deserve.
Yes, exclude carbos on all your turrets, EXCEPT for a few AUTO turrets! Capped auto turrets (1400) take as long to soak as capped heavies (5800). 8 or 12 autos on skelies is fine, you can also have all your heavies on survivors only (when all autos get destroyed your tower is done). Heavies don’t contribute to your tower’s dps as much as teks do so the few autos isn’t a big deal. Please note, if you have the arb to cap all your turrets go for heavies instead of autos because of the disguise. If you don’t, cap all your autos and spread the rest of your arb over the heavies, the autos will take ages to soak so karki carboing or carbo bombing your soaked heavies ain’t a thing. If you’re going to build on gen1 lunar, use a skiff (without structures on it) to build, it’s way easier than punching your way around. You can also put an exomek on the skiff so you can pick up and have longer build range, your tribe mate will have to fly the skiff though.
those are my only tips for crystal isles for you along with turret towers on the walls so they can fly over your base to scout and claim the land in front of you and claim the log than make 4 sandis with main base near the water for ezy escape just in case they miraculously get i 3 minutes ago make a base on that log near the end of red forest they will have to magmasaur raid you or cannon raid they cant soak your turrets without a ramp and if you ace spam on top with a turret tower mix of death wall around your base

Droped two 1 week ago. Builded Megachellon walking Backwards into tower. One Player under megachellon beer running und megachellon to geni and grapple up and rifle geni down
Side note, remember, attackers are shooting for the genny, so u really need multiple gennys which is the main thing this tower is missing and 2 genny is koo, unless one is on ground level, cuz its a cheeze and once they hv ground floor they can destroy the foundation
Haha i been building my towers like that since double doors first came out, i always felt that using walls and not door frames was pointless when they can’t shoot through walls
