I’m wondering what types of hooks you put in your stand to hold the weight? I have a small space to work with and am trying to come up with ideas for a hanging basket stand
Sorry, we have been in level 1 evac from the Garner Complex fires. It's just over the hill from us and smoke is so thick you can cut it with a knife. Venturing out to water and harvest and that's it. Apologies to everyone.
Good luck with this, I also don't get the concept of doing it 😀 I just wanted to say that it might be better to add/ make the drainage holes on the sides not in the bottom so the water will not cover the plant when it is huge. Maybe !
I like your video. But I have done the 5 gal buckets before also. It works great but need to water a lot. Now for the plant wanting to grow upward is normal as you already know, all you need to do is tie something real light to it so it keeps hangingward. Once tomatoes start growing then you have naturral growing weight. !! :) I would recommend not to grow anything on top. Both plants will root the whole bucket. Also I put my eye screws underneath. Get back to me ok. Thanks
@@Growyourheirlooms Also I was going to mention instead of holding your plant in place underneath and put a little bit of dirt in that’s a lot of work. Make yourself something for every plant to set your bucket on top of and you can hold your plant in place with one hand inside of the bucket and then put dirt in with the other hand or you can do it the other way too. Depending on how tall your plant is to begin with use a 2 x 10 and make a horseshoe So you can put your hand in underneath and hold it in place while you use the other hand to put dirt in you don’t even have to touch the 5 gallon bucket
