By structuring your buying in a way that leaves cash on sideline every time you DCA. We explain that in multiple sessions as part of the academy, maybe join and learn instead of being negative 🤷♂️
All He is saying is be cautious on the buying for now as prices may correct and be a better BUY when that happens. 2nd, NOT TOO PANIC , which is a typical mistake. And yes, kong term we are in a new bull-run. NO panicking please.
I put in 10k in stock, as of 09/06/2024, I am down to $4900. I'M PANICKING! Should I just ride it out and cross my toes that it will go back up, or sell everything and accept my lose?
TN didnt really say anything he hasnt said before… He has always said to hold on pullbacks and corrections; meaning, continue buying the dips and be ready for some red, but overall the market will rise again. This is consistent with his recent previous videos; the market is volatile and to be careful about selling in red out of fear. So yeah, this is in line with what he has said before…
@@TomNashTV How about SQQQ for short term protection as small part of portfolio and convert to stock at oversold territory if at all a pullback were to happen.
@@kumar.193 What if you go SQQQ and it never comes? TN is saying IN CASE it happens then don't sell out of fear and buy the dips of stocks you already studied and have strong fundamentals.
Stop losses help but not that much if you don't have access to pre and post market . Most of the big market movement numbers come out when the stock market id not open .
Thank you, Tom. I am spreading your words and links to my friends and family including my young children. I'm getting them started early learning the investment tools and saving for future. Thanks, again!
Love the content, Tom. Yesterday it was obvious (to the well informed) the algo's, pension funds, big hitters were doing buybacks and re-positioning their portfolios, doing huge buys in certain stocks. IMO this is what is pushing the market up right now so fast in some cases. Now, as you suggest, it may retreat, and I agree, I was expecting it to, hoping it would, and it looks like it is letting off steam today. So I'm watching for opportunities and not fomoing into PLTR or PPL when they are overbought (is this another way of saying they are too expensive? ). I may buy some Amazon, like you say there are some great deals out there. Sofi looks good, still, I think.
What, the market doesn't just go straight up for 4 years? But I quit my job at McDonald's and invested the entire 50 bucks in my savings account in the market, then I thought I just kicked back and got rich! Damn, back to Mickey D's! 😞
As is goes down always buy the fear and sell only the greed, DCA as it drops and then stop buying massively when the market exceeds your average cost on the stock
real estate is dropping, gov't keeps printing, all reports get revised lower, credit card debt all-time high, major layoffs, forever wars - I'm shorting.
I think I saw DCA videos for the last month - slow down - don't try to "predict" but "be prepared" if it happens - don't sell into weakness, but raise cash to buy the stocks you want to own long term.
Just came across your channel and you are speaking rational truth. It doesn't make you a Bear if you point out that statistically we are due for a correction due to this very aggressive V shaped recovery. The market has had a lot of euphoria since everyone thought the world economy was crashing, starting with Japan. I've pulled a lot of positions off the table last week, waiting for that reasonable correction in likely the next couple weeks. Then rebuy at better prices.
Maybe the market has already predicted the next few cuts (which is what I believe is the case)… because how can some of these big cap companies be priced the way there are ? With their PE
Basically, whatever you invest each month ie $100,300,1000 etc. DCA 50% and stock plie the other 50% so that when she dips,or dips hard, you have your cash built up to go shopping harder than normal.😉
Hey Tom thank you for your continued work ethic . Im thinking of pulling back some of my big winners to build up cash im nervous to do it since i have never touch my winners + the tax hit. Should i just go for it. Im thinking playing with house money sounds real good
I wish you would do some more in-depth analysis of some stocks. I bought into paypal, shopify, uber during the dip and pior to it, and im up pretty big. Anything else?
You tell us over the last couple weeks that the s&p 500 and the stocks therein are overstretched and at their high. You tell us that the Russell 2000 iwm Is behind and should rise soon with interest cuts and rotation. Why are you still in s&p instead of Russell? Love your content, visit every day!
Titles are a joke. I don’t care. I enjoy seeing people get triggered by these titles and thumbnails. My true community knows it’s pure algorithm and not serious. The rest can kiss my ass 🤣
@@TomNashTV LOL, I used to get pissed at people like Joe Blogs, who had the word COLLAPSE in every title, but I got over it. Do what you have to do to get views, your audience (myself included) knows to ignore the title and appreciate the content. You're one of the ones that got me into PLTR and glad you did! If you really thought things were going to COLLAPSE, the only advice would be to sell everything and get ready to buy it back.
The big problem is experts. They're always know to predict the past. No doubt correction will come . So hold great fund or stocks with great passive income that will help you. Thanks for sharing but warning isn't hurting especially those they got cold legs. Good luck and thanks again ❤
Could you explain how you see the correction? I know you explained something about the velocity of the market but how do you see the resistance of the entire market?
But.. The groceries are up 40%.How is the stocks only being 20%? Mean they're too high? It's inflation. The stock had to cost more if the dollar lost value
Love your videos. Hi from Lithuania ;) l have only one problem. Next week l will have 100k ready for investments. And l have no idea how to pick time to enter the market.
Waiti g for thr NVDA pop on esrnj gs and Ill be selling upside calls off the top + trimming 20% into strength to raise cash for the next dip bwtween now & Oct. From there, wxpect it to rally into year end
You're speaking about the "average" as if it's a physical thing that has power over actual events. It doesnt. The "average" does not determime the performance of the market, it's the performance of the market that determines the average.
@@TomNashTV All good! 😁 for the record I am not saying you are wrong about this, I just think they way you're trying to predict what's going to happen is not for causal reasons.
"when everybody's bullish, be bearish" would mean lower positions in bull market, but your actual recommendation is always bullish, always buy, but buy less and on average (DCA)
A month he had a video about 10 days over the last 20 years double someone’s portfolio illustrating how important it was to never truly leave the market and always stay in through thick and thin.
@tom nash normaly i do the opisite to what you say but i sometimes am right and sometimes wrong but on this occasion you are 💯 spot on and people are only going to kick themselfs for not lostening to you this time, people need to be ready to buy on the low end of the dip for max return proffit will be years and years potentially before we see this again.
