This videos is so underrated, you mentioned to flare and lift that front landing gear and now I can butter perfectly, that’s exactly what I was missing. Thanks a lot man!
Now I was bad at landing because of the new update and I mostly butter fighter jets but this helped me a lot! It’s nice to see you post videos about things you do. So now I can butter once again!
my suggestion when landing in first person is in certain aircraft mostly the lower ones you can see the runway coming up outside of the glass and based on that make your flare as high or low as it needs to be
bro how to move the camera angle cuz im unable to move it withh the cursor cuz my camera angle is just locked when im in the plane even though the cam locked isnt even enabled i play on a chromebook btw can u guide me cuz im a bit new and i looked up google n yt but cant find the solution to my problem
@@idiotboi4546 I get you I used to play on a Chromebook and they are absolute garbage get a cheap windows laptop or something its not going to work onn a Chromebook because the mobile app from google play isn't optimized for Chromebook and is ment to be used on mobile
@@FrequencyORD is that an insult or a compliment? saying 'u can do much better' is an insult and saying 'ur amazing' is a compliment. u just said a... complisult..?
there's a guy called AsiaThatBoii who almost just downloaded your video and uploaded it on his channel. from thumbnail, to airport, to exact same text used in tutorial text (besides the very start) , splitting it into parts, its weird that no one's noticed
Did u know there is a cool thing in PTFS. If you hold right click then change the camera view where u want it after that press esc, then press esc again then u can still turn the plane.
tip : make sure the landing speed indicator DOES NOT appear before touchdown. when you touch down, slow down and bring the nose gear down, and make sure the landing speed indicator shows at that time. If you had the landing speed indicator on at approach, then you will do a nose wheelie when you touch down
This turned out to help me a lot with landings in terms of smoothness. I just watched this before doubting that id ever even try to butter a landing but now it is so easy for me to do it thanks to the tips provided in this video and i have already done many butter landings. So thank you for that.
Fun Fact: I landed an Airbus A350 Scandinavian 3 perfect times! (10/10 centerline 10/10 butter 10/10 centerline and 10/10 touchdown zone!) (also sorry for bad english im finnish)
Do a landing competition! You have to stop as fast as possible on the touch down zone. If the contestant goes out of the runway he will be DSQ. Butter=Bonus. please notice this
Nice vid! Definitely helped me improve my landings. Just one question I think u missed this out in the vid, how to align with the runway in first person
also make sure your GPWS says "50" when your at the threshold and "30" when your at the touchdown zone, you typically touch the ground at the aiming point so keep that in mind
ok so half of the advice is good but you did not follow any of them the REAL way to land is too first of all use advanced to get into the right position second once you are on the final approach undo advanced (or keep it on as i do for both) put it to full flaps then put on cam lock slowly look at the ground, if you are descending speed up a bit then slow down by 5% (also you have to follow landing speed as it helps a ton if you are a bit new as i am not and i still follow it which is good for me and all of you) now, then you try and slowly but surely touch the ground put it to idle, (does not matter if you are a bit hard it still counts as a butter lol) then put reverse into 5% following onto around 15% then onto 45% - 51% then slow down once your nose gear has touched and then you are free to go also tip to corner well while taxiing is if you are going to overrun slow the plane to idle then turn it into 5% - 15% then slow down
