i didn't even know you could buffer buttons like that in the first half of the video, it may indeed be usefull in some combos even tho i use a lot of binds on my stick
Wanna confirm. Can we buffer the whole fff for WR3 while in the ending animation of jab. Or can we only buffer the first forward during the recovery of our jab, then we have to press ff3 after the end of the animation in order to get WR3? I was told we can only buffer one directional input during recovery animations.
Copy pasted my answer from discord haha that's how it feels like tbh...you can see in the vid that there is no forward movement even just a little bit when you buffer it with the jab (or any move with the animation ending) soo yeah for me you can...I'm not sure about the input registration and all of it so I really can't reject what your friend said
The Geppopotamus site (in Japanese) has a "System" section which says that in Tekken 7, you could only buffer one f, but in Tekken 8 you can buffer two f inputs. I don't know the details myself, so I can't say what's right or wrong, but it seems like a lot of people are repeating information about Tekken 7 inputs which might not be accurate anymore for Tekken 8.
Is that a ps4 controller? How'd you get it to work on tekken 8? I've been trying for months to figure out a way to use mine. I'm on console so it might not be possible 😢
