So the 151 reprint wave truly didn't hit the market till a week ago or so. The April wave was a April's fools sale dang. I just got a case recently $840. Will go in again if the June reprint is real. What a wonderful time it is for collecting and investing.
Amazon Japan is great... if you select Amazon Japan as the seller you can get their items sent direct to you skipping the proxy address. Works out much cheaper for me here in Norway, they add about 13% to price and that covers import fees whereas I pay customs 25% on the value of everything including shipping via the proxy. Shipping is dhl as well at similar price to the cheaper proxy methods. Shame they don't have 151 obviously 😢
yes, i remember buying the 25th anniversary box + promos and it was shipping directly! unfortunately during the hyped period of japanese boxes, Amazon Japan was never an option for straight buying but i see that they have been putting up some boxes recently now that it's less hyped. good reminder!
@@pokemonstatcg nothing crazy different but if I saw someone with 93% and with lots of reviews I wouldn't go for them as you're basically taking a 7% risk something is wrong, I'd want someone with 97-98% or more with at least 100 reviews.
Is it possible to buy directly from the pokemon centre Japan website using ghe proxy address? Think navigating the website was an issue last time i looked. Great vids btw
yep you can using the proxy address - try translating the whole webpage for the Pokemon Center using google and hopefully it’ll be easier for you to setup!
you can at the moment for some sets that amazon japan sells directly, but up until recently they were usually always sold out due to popularity so that you had to buy from different sellers on Amazon Japan, and those sellers only ship to Japanese address
