It’s a wonder ful value addition. I want to ask following questions What should be ideal broken %age of rice for exports 2. What should be the ideal grain length I’d Basmati for exports 3. How will be know at what moisture level rice is milled

sure, 5-10% broken percentage is considered acceptable for most types of rice for exports. A grain length of 6.9-7.6 mm is considered ideal for Basmati rice exports. The moisture level at which rice is milled can be determined by measuring the moisture content of the paddy before milling.

let me clear for no realtion between whitening of rice and moisture .... white colour due to polishing . more white mens more broken percentage and moisture is imp befour dehusking .
