How to buy Ripple with Litecoin

If you see someone ask how to buy Ripple (XRP) with Litecoin (LTC), please share this video with them. This is my 3rd tutorial on how to buy Ripple. My 1st was with Bitcoin, the second is with Ethereum, and now this one with Litecoin. Which one do you think is the fastest?
The Coinbase to Binance transaction fee for Litecoin was: $0.25 cents.

The reason why people choose Binance is to avoid the additional registration requirements that often delay a purchase of coins. If you have LTC you want to liquidate, use this tutorial. Especially at the rate Ripple is going up!

i just did this with LTC, thank you btw, and it seems like the day you were doing this video was just a bad day, because i did everything you said to do in this video and it only took 15 minutes for my LTC to hit Binance, good luck everyone!

I plan on investing $1500 to $2000 in ripple. I'm 21 and would hold it for 5 to 10 years as a long term investment. Do you think its worth it? I've never bought crypto before so this is an experimental investment for me. I'm also interested in the SALT coin as a secondary investment that I can gradually add too.

Hari don’t discount bitcoin even if you can buy a fraction of one. You still make the percentage gains. I’m planning to hold onto all my ripple for at least a year to see what happens. Just diversify and don’t put all your money in one coin and definitely invest what you are willing to lose. This is just my opinion and not any financial advise. Thanks Gary for the video and this was really helpful. Could you also provide your recommendations on which coin to invest in at the moment for longterm gains..Like TRX,DOGECOIN, etc.I know XRP is growing but ETH is growing as well..i saw a 200$ surge in ETH within 2 days..

Unless I'm missing something, would it not make more sense to transfer ETH over to Binance(from Coinbase) instead of LTC, so u can save that extra step of swaping LTC for ETH? Plus maybe the processing time with Binance would be faster with ETH instead of LTC. Just asking,

I think this was a Binance issue. I tried to transfer ETH from coinbase to binance yesterday and it took like 5 or 6 hours.

So if I buy with litecoin the way you said I get more value instead of buying bitcoin on Coinbase right?

All dependent on the price at the time of sale. The market can move in either direction. For eg; You're ready to cash out 100k of Ripple(Hypothetical) and you decide you will sell XRP for LTC. Transfer goes through, but the LTC price is moving downward that 100k can easily become 95k or less because the price moved against you . This is why transaction times are so critical in this crypto market. Hope that clarifies. Now when/if Ripple gets added to Coinbase you skip the steps i mentioned above :)

Gary Cruz i dont use binonce yet but will soon, but what would be the extra process, cant you just buy any altcoin with litecoin/ethereum like you can with bitcoin or can u only use bitcoin?

If you make a vid of how to sell XRP when the time is right, I think my life will be complete! I mean, I see the sell area and all of that. I just dont know how it would work. Coinbase has my bank tied to it so that makes sense to me.

If you want to cash out on your on XRP you would send it back to Binance, sell it for Ethereum and transfer your Ethereum to either Coinbase or GDAX, either will suffice and then either do a withdrawal to your bank account or a bank wire transfer. Withdrawals do take a few days on Coinbase so keep that in mind when you're ready to cash out. An alternative would be Gemini or Kraken. Hope that helps

There is no reason to do this. Just buy ETH directly from coinbase and skip an extra step.

Hi Macb1bc, I agree, there isn't a reason to do this, but at least a dozen people commented on my how to buy Ripple with BTC video asking if they can do it with LTC. I was curious, so I did it myself. But like I stated in my video, it's better to do with Ethereum. Some people might want to convert some of their existing LTC balance.
