Great video! I just wish Scribing helped my class lol.. I bought the Gold Road for the content and was under the impression it would help my Arcanist or at least allow interesting changes to how the spells work but I have yet to see ANY benefit to scribing on my Arc -sad panda-
I find some scribing skills useful in pvp, and some class scripts are quite good. I can’t speak for a pve perspective though. Overall, im not mad that its not a broken, overpowered system.
@@nyxenwhite Oh I agree it looks like a fun system and some skills look interesting, but as an Arcanist non of them improve upon or make my class more interesting. Someone mentioned on a Reddit post that scribing is more for all the other classes that need to fill in the "gaps" in what their class can do and improve some of their lacking skills, while Arcanist just doesn't have those same gaps or needed crutches as much, it's more balanced. I was just hoping it would allow for cool variations and cosmetics like making Fatecarver shorter duration but hit harder or change the beam color etc.. but meh,.. hopefully the devs see how this new expansion is lacking and will improve scribing :), doesn't help that the game glitched and when I entered a battleground I came out and all my progression was lost in almost the entire scribing quest lines.. opted to put it on the back burner for now lol
@seabhacgra517 darn that’s horrible re: scribing progression. For pve arc is def goated and (too) well rounded. For pvp with the desynchs beam doesnt work as well as I wish it did. With the new changes coming to flail, we might have access to a better burst dmg skill though. As for scribing, healing soul + class script or druids reserg + maj vitality might be a thing to try out to benefit arcanists :)

I love Arc healing lines but I took a queue from another video and started using Resolving Vigor instead because it's a very fast self heal for about 2/3 of my health and can be used back to back. I compared that to the scribing heal as well as Arc self heals and they just don't measure up to that level. But I may try our the healing soul instead at some point.. when I'm not so frustrated with the lack of options Arcanist has with scribing lol
