Just did this after watching last night, I had a horrible rattle coming from the active exhaust being closed and this fixed it, nothing but engine noise at low RPM now, appreciate ya 🤙🏼
Super simple and took me 20 minutes; most of that time was putting the car on the tire ramp. It's not a mind-blowing difference but the sound is improved. Thank you for sharing!
Great video bro. I did this same exact thing to my 2021 Challenger Scat Pack Shaker. It works perfectly too. I used high temp. resistant zip ties I bought on Amazon. No engine codes, nothing. Just a nice, growly-type exhaust note.

I did this and left the springs in, better to leave them out because the spring helps the valves open so if you leave them in the zip ties will eventually loosen up and make a new nasty rattling noise
Yeah you’re absolutely right! I came across it making the rattling sounds and replace the zip tie with 6 gauge copper wire. I have an updated video on my channel on it but thanks for commenting on our video every comment could help other people.🤟🏽💯

Update don’t do this if you don’t like seing your check engine light cuz mines been on since I did it car runs sounds the same just throws a code 2019 and up
I red up on it and it said it would but I have. Buddy who has 17 charger and he didn’t get no check engine light and no the check engine would not affect it
You turn it to the right correct .. and one of the holes for the 8 millimeter bolt plastic broke would that make a difference for check engine light on … I have a 2017 Hemi Rt trackpack
Yeah try doing it with 8 gauge copper wire put it in the same place but the year is maybe why the check engine light came on usually when who does it 2019 and really doesn’t have a problem but 2019 and below has the problem but the check engine isn’t going to hurt nothing you probably just have to clear it everyday if you want to do this mod
Well you are tricking the system. With the active the only thing it is looking for is the valve to open and close. As long as the black piece with the yellow gear moves, the system is satisfied.
We heard a lot of people was having problems with it like a check engine light comes up for them but give it a try if it don’t work just let me know bro
You could in theory just cut that section out and hang the valve up under and secure it. No flap, no checking on it, nothing. That way the flap is gone also.
