Do you know of this would also bypass the auto stop on a Chevy impala 2019? I hate the feature and came across that removing the hood latch sensor may remove auto stop. Do you know of this so true?
If i disconnect the hood latch sensor on my 2014 malibu will it disengage my start stop system..i hate it...the later models you can put in L and shift to six and it bypasses the start stop but this 14 has an M for manual and wont upshift like that
I have a Chevy Spark 2016 LTZ with the annoying start/stop system. Indeed if the hood is open before you start the car it will disangage the system but you will have to clear the message in your dash everytime you start the car. I'm trying to find a way to disable the "hood check"
Well this is for 2006 Impala the trick is to get the hood indicator light to go off an order to use remote start and this have worked for everyone without an check engine light on...
It want say the hood is open by putting the wires together like shown in the video it will make it as the hood is closed and as you see I can remote start my car with the hood open...
