Thank you for the nice presentation. But, how can I prepare data and analyze the seasonal Precipitation concentration index in R studio? I'm looking forwards to hear your responses as soon
Yes, You can calculate. Prepare your datasets according to the video then calculate PCI for each grid then import to GIS software such as ArcGIS, QGIS then interpolate it using either IDW or Kriging. Don't forget to subscribe and to share with friends.
I already did it in this way, but it took too many times for computation because of the size of the data (more than 600000 grid points), but I was thinking that it could be a method to calculate it spatially directly from R.
Why don't interpolate the grid data (from vector to raster) using IDW/Kriging then re-grid it again with coarse resolution (raster to vector)? then calculate PCI for coarse resolution grid data then interpolate it to get the spatial distribution of PCI for the entire West-Africa region.
hello thanks for your vedeo is it possible to calculate EVAPOT ihave the precip and temp data to use the result in the weap model please can you explain more
@@FreeScholarshipsGuide already understand it. Usually I use a long list of data instead of wide data for analysis. Just figure out how to convert the long list data into wide list before I can use this PCI in r
