I’m in the Philippines and submersible pumps finally seem to be catching on here. The problem is, there’s not much knowledge about the sizing factor, both in water volume and physical dimensions. Their typical solution to drop in a 2hp pump and call it a day. A lot of wells are drilled by hand and can take a few days to complete. I’m afraid of wells that aren’t perpendicular or straight. I’m not very knowledgable about Wells but if there happens to be a bend in the pvc casing somewhere along the length of the well, it could cause problems if the casing is too small in relation to the pump diameter. At the moment I’m trying to phase out my deep well jet pump in favour of a solar powered submersible pump for many reasons, reliability and electricity cost being two of them. Thanks for your time and patience RPS Pumps!
