How to Care for the Money Tree 

I’m afraid to buy these my friends haven’t had good luck with these

When I previously commented, I was really struggling with the money tree. It took trial and error before I have conquered it and now I am in love with it. It’s part of the game I guess trial and error like everything else but it was very frustrating. Finally I figured it out. The money tree is not hard at all to take care of us humans that make life more difficult than it has to be. The key to keeping a money tree thriving is two barely and I stress barely water it!! We look at it. We think it needs water. Of course it does. Now it doesn’t. I promise you. Now I have eight money trees that are beautiful and growing so big and they love me! Well, they’ve always loved me lol it’s just I’ve tried to drown so many of them, they were trying to tell me and it took a minute to figure it out. So anyone struggling with a Money tree I will tell you this right now, put it in a windowsill that is indirect lighting, water throughly, meaning that you haven’t perhaps have the plant very long just bought it it’s new, anyways and then forget about it. But only forget about it. Meaning the water not like forget about it forget about it lol but do you wanna wait three weeks at least before you even think about putting it under the sink or watering or or whatever you do it just don’t put ice cubes in it. Do you want that sucker to be dry as heck and they do like it all eight of mine love it. I left town for an entire month and a half and I only had 200 plants to care for! That being said, my husband only watered my plants two times out of the month. Each plant got a very thorough 15 minute rooted watering! When I came back, they were just as beautiful if not more beautiful than when I had left. He has no idea about any type of plant so it was very exciting to know that none of them had perished while I was gone. I do play hertz frequencies for all of my plants and I do talk to them I do rub their leaves and shine them, and sense doing this like I said trial and error that alone has doubled their size and thickness of all of my plants. Now if you really want to hear something crazy because I’m crazy and I try everything and I’m not scared, is I did have for money Plants with the hydroponics for about four months and they did really well in there, but not as well as they do in the soil. well draining soil. I don’t have to be anything fancy fancy is all about gimmicks and taking your money. It does need a tended to as far as talking and singing and that loves music like all things. It’s trial and error. See what works for you but I promise you if I can keep eight money, trees, looking magical, and beautiful and growing anyone can. But I have found is when in doubt, throw it out! Get rid of the soil try something different switch it up. You don’t think plants get bored while they do they communicate with us every day and the more you listen to them the more you will start to pay attention to their reaction to you, possible vibrating leaves. Hey, it’s no joke they do recognize their owners And it is important and I can’t stress this enough. It is important to be mindful of what you’re watching on television what you’re listening to on the radio what kind of energy do you have in your house? If your plants are not doing well in one room let’s say the television is near it or a Wi-Fi router that is why your plants are struggling , in most cases, violence, yelling, murder, horror, movies, kill plants, and nobody talks about it but it’s true because I’ve done experiments with them. I’ve seen it we don’t give Plants enough credit. I’m thankful I’m older my kids are grown. I live in a quiet house, my husband does everything I say lol not really, he’s just selective hearing Losing his hearing I don’t know, but either way don’t always assume it’s fertilizer water soil, which in most cases it’s usually overwatering is how I’ve managed to figure this out after being a plant attic for three years. Over three years I go and I save all the ones that are on their way to compost and I’ll bring them back. I’ve never paid more than $1.25 for any of my 200 plants. I do cuttings I multiply but I refuse to Play Anything for them because you can always find the ones that nobody wants and yeah they’re ugly at first but only a mother can love it and I guarantee it if you believe in it, it will come back nine times out of 10. I brought home some ones that I knew for sure were completely dead and nope they popped up. You have to have patience , trust yourself and if you didn’t hear anything, I said in this entire novel I just got done speaking about please if anything hear me when I say, quit watering your plants!! You will see them magically. Come back you’re not hurting them you’re helping them. I had to tell myself that over and over again because in the beginning it was very hard I thought I had to water them like every Tuesday at 5 o’clock and in fact, I was just slowly killing them. And also if your plant is doing really bad, take it out of the soil throw it in some water in a clear vase depending on the light where you’re going to put it watch it for four days change the water and repeat for another four days I guarantee you that’s going to shift everything and then you can ask your plant if it wants soil and water or water like I do and then go from there. We don’t trust ourselves enough I appreciate this woman bringing light to the money true. I did make the comment that they were the hardest damn things I ever had but in all reality, it was me making things hard lol.

What about holes in the leaves?

I've had a money tree for almost 10 years now and it's growing really well but I didn't realise it needed to be braided so it's quite large and has four strands which are not braided together. Do you have any tips for getting a well-established plant into a braid? TIA x

my mom had one for years until she stopped caring for it and it died, now im getting one

When watering, does it matter what the water temperature is?

They are definitely NOT easy to care for!! Out of my 200 plus plants, the $ tree has gave me the most headaches
