Bushcrafters love a KUKSA! It's one of those "must have" bits of kit, but instead of buying one why not have a go at making your own!
Here is my guide to making one.
*I'm still having issues with the auto-focus in this one, I may have to go to manual focus. My apologies.

Great stuff Neil and a great channel. Your channel should be waaaaaaaaay bigger than it is. Consistently good information, good viewing, skills and information 👍🏻

The toughest thing I have carved was pecan. I made some big kettle stirring spoons for a friend and a friend of hers. It was brutal! Where I live in Alabama we have a mix of hardwoods and coniferous trees. If I can get some poplar it would be nice. And Crepe Myrtle carves nicely as well.

Top video Neil. Not sure it's really me, but maybe. Setting shelters up is about as Bushcraft as I get and making fires - but I tend to use my stoves more, I am very careful if ever making a fire on the ground as i live in peat moorland area, that means fires on the ground are dangerous! So I use my stoves, a Chinese Trangia knock pair are the most used, then a One Tigris bushbox stove and then other twig and firebox stoves I have - even a BCB when out cycle touring due to the storage area issues.

great advice especially keeping in a bag until finished while working on green wood. when putting in the wood pile to dry should the sides be the finished thickness or thicker. wondering about the wood cracking and best way to prevent after al the work put into making it
