How to carve a selenite knife 

I carved this selenite knife for my healer friend. She will use it to help lots of people. Selenite is excellent for meditation work as it brings a deep peace so that meditation or visualization can be achieved more easily. It is a good stone to have to help us quiet our mind and give us mental clarity. A wonderful tool for energy work-particularly releasing negative energy, cleansing, and channeling energy.
This selenite piece is the one I sourced in Australia,it is a true selenite not a satin spar which lots of people got the two crystals mixed. True selenite has many thin layers with square shapes which are easily peeled, a bit hard to carve but amazing energy.
