If possible in the future I would enjoy a video on feature finding, depth determination and what to look for where you would like to place your baits for the carp. Hi Gilbert. Thank you for a great video. When I use a spom I found that it hits the water on its side and not its nose, so it has to hit the bottom before it opens. Can you give any advice how I can overcome this? Am I packing the spom incorrectly???
Hi William. You are more than welcome, I'm glad you enjoy the content. The reason the Spomb lands on it's side is because you might be hitting the line clip at the wrong moment with the rod in a static position. Once the Spomb hits the line clip, you should slightly through your rod tip forward to ensure that gravity pulls the nose end of the Spomb to face the surface of the water before impact. This will ensure that the Spomb lands on the red clip with every single cast. Hope this helps.
