Yes. However if you prefer to wash it, go ahead. It is a personal preference. Most flannel can be reused multiple times, just keep it in a plastic bag inside the refrigerator in-between use. You will know when you need to wash it!

To wear overnight or for a few days?

Hi @seizetheday6953! You can absolutely use a bandaid to cover it with castor oil

Overnight is fine, I would encourage you to change the bandaid once a day, however.

Yes, eventually you will wash it. You will be able to tell when. Keep it inside the refrigerator in a zip-lock bag in-between use. No need to add too much oil after first use...just use your discretion!

@@vitaeclinic Oh does it not need to be moist? After each use, its dries up. Thats why I keep adding more.

@@CreateNowSleepLater if the castor oil pack is drying up completely, then reapplying more oil is fine. General rule of thumb is 1-2 tablespoons spread out at first use, and up to 1 tablespoon thereafter.

Well done. You skipped what I’d long skipped myself. In error. Clean the area with baking soda water. I’d reasoned I’d be showering before long….we know how distractions come up. Wash the area with baking soda water to remove the toxins that the pack has removed. Otherwise, it goes back to the body. What was I Thinking? It’s like using vinegar to a stain….you've covered an area with vinegar cloth….let it set to use the drawing out process. Now the stain is lifted ….wash with baking soda water, the process is over. It’s a wonderful healing method. Promotes good sleep too. Do it for yourself. Do it for others. Especially children and elders. Wonderful way to teach….the body heals itself. Castor oil packs gives it a nudge.
