How to catch bream on lures - Brisbane river bream fishing

Tune in for a quick video outlining a method of fishing for bream on the Brisbane river. In this video I'm using small soft plastics, casting them around structure and into moving water to catch bream. I have been using this method to catch numerous bream on lures in the Brisbane river and it's also a very fun way to fish. I also use small hardbody lures to catch bream - I will attach a similar video with hardbody lures to the end screen. Thanks for tuning in everyone. More videos to come. Nigies Squidgies.

Good work mate 🤙 was just out on a session at Curramundi Lakes only managed a small Moses perch but my mate managed to get onto a jack

How don't you get snagged there? I've been at that spot during low tide and it is so rocky!

Hey mate, yes, those spots are really rocky and you can easily snag a lot of lures. I use lightly weighted jig heads for plastics and if I’m using a hardbody I use shallow diving ones. I work the lures in a way that they are above the rocks. I’ve fished here a lot so I know where most of the snags are. So I avoid a few areas where the lures get snagged often. Hope that helps mate!
