This is awesome. Ive been watching your videos for a while now. And dont remember seeing this one. Im taking the old lady fishing tonight and looked up dip bait rigging and you popped up. So of course i had to watch you first.

I had that problem to when using the treble hooks. So what i did is just took the rubber dip worms off the treble hook and tied my own leader and slid the dip worm onto the shank of a 1/0 circle hook or a 2/0 j hook and it worked great. Been doing that for a long time now and haven't gut hooked one since. And it's a pain trying to get the small ones unhooked when using the treble hook. Cool video bro. Thanks for sharing.

Ive tried circle hooks just like that and still got hooked a few!

@@CrazyQuady yeah I have had them still get gut hooked with circle hooks too. Not as often but it still happens. Especially if they just eat it right in place without swimming away with the bait, like bullheads are famous for doing.

Do you remember what type of line and the brand of the yellow line you were using in this video on your darker rod? I'm looking for some bright yellow line like that for my cat rods to help me see my line better during night fishing.
