Good vid. I just finished doing this...on a 2020 Elantra. Step by step. Good lord! It took me 45 minutes. I had to come up through the wheelweel on BOTH sides. Even then my hands are numb from cramming them into extremely tight space. Thanks Hyundai!! Good luck with any other DIY doing this.

Thank you! Other videos showed how to disassemble the entire front end of the car in order to change a light bulb. This worked beautifully.

The dealership offered to get these replaced for $800+ for each separate bulb. This video makes me confident I can do it myself.

Just installed LEDs (Fahren Termitor) on my sister’s Elantra and confirmed, very easy. Just pop the clips like in the video, and bam, easy access…..just not a lot of room so you’ll have to feel around a bit but still easy.

The Hyunday Elantra 2019 and 2020 works with a single bulb and has inside the headlight housing a device with a plastic gear and a sheet that projects more or less light on the magnifying glass, meaking the difference between highs and lows beams. The failure is given that the plastic gear when receiving the heat from the bulb and it detaches from its base or loses adherence and this causes that a the system doesn't releases more or less light on the magnifying glass and the high light being affected. El Hyunday Elantra 2019 y 2020 trabaja con un solo bobillo y tiene internamente dentro de la carcasa del faro un dispositivo con un engranaje plástico y una lámina que proyecta más o menos luz sobre la lupa y marcando la diferencia entre altas y bajas. El fallo dado que el engrane de plástico al recibir el calor del foco se desprende de su base o pierde adherencia y esto hace que no se mueva una lámina que libera la luz sobre la lupa viéndose afectada la luz alta.

So im confused i ordered a 9005 led and it did not fit with my 2019 elantra. The lowbeam healights are on the outside and highbeams are on the inside. Lowbeam takes the H7 correct?

Just replaced my bulbs and they work great on low beam, but the driver side high beam doesn’t work. Any suggestions? Already switched sides with the bulbs so it’s not the bulb
