The jack was in the car! It was in the sidewall next to the speaker on the left hand side, for future reference.

The jack point location you pointed out in the back is clearly wrong if you look at the arrow on the picture of the rod bag, there's a round cup like stop welded to the side of the frame above the location you pointed out....just FYI
