Hello , I apologise for that , this was my first ever video so I might’ve missed stuff , is it the black handle ? Which time in the video roughly ? If it’s the black handle that just came off easily , the people that changed this regulator had already broken it 😂 normally I believe it’s riveted. Kind regards , Theo
@@Aussiecarstar It is indeed the black handle, and it is supposed to be very stuck to the door. There are clips on the backside, and they need to be pressed towards the outsides to get loose. It is a bit hard because you have to do it blind. Then the bar rotates downwards.
@@cleansingfire18 Yes I get you , i have pinned your comment for future viewers , at about minute 3.17 when i pull the door panel off , it was already hanging loose 🤣 and the sound proof material was already ripped. So i couldnt actually record these things . It was my first video 4 years ago do apologise for the inconvenience.
Great video, very explanatory and easy to follow. I have my new regulator, so off I go to fit it! Bet it takes me longer than 15 mins! I'll let you know......Well, I took your video into the car with me and it took me 4 hours, then I had to wait until next day (Amazon) for some new panel clips to arrive to replace the ones I had broken when taking the panel off! Great instructive video that has saved me about £250.
Really helpful; how do you unfix the grab handle without spoiling the plug. It happens to me twice as it's nearly impossible to reĺease the plastic grab with smooth power. Anyway this video helped me to get the window regulators run.
Hello, thank you :) and welcome to our channel. I bought it from a wrecker here in Melbourne, after many calls to many places. Rather hard to find, either already sold or not functioning properly. Goodluck :)
If your window doesn’t stay up at all , pretty much fully open position, that will probably be the wire has completely snapped . If you hear noise clicking motor probably works . If you hear scratching noise the wire is fluffy . Hope these help . I would remove the inner door trim panel just to be sure . Easy process and go from there . Best of luck , Teo
@@Aussiecarstar the window is closed in upper position, when i close it the last time the window went up reaaaaly slowly and ive to click it for 2 times then
