I'm getting ready to replace my bulb, and I KNEW there had to be an easier way than thru the tire well. I felt a little movement in that black plastic piece and thought I'd keep looking for a video of someone doing it. Thanks for the video brother.
I did mine that way when one housing turned into a rain gauge. I noticed that on the side opposite the two bolts were, the part to seat that side was broken, so I had to remove the part still remaining on the vehicle. Decided to change bulbs in other side and discovered that same part was already broken. Noticed that yours appears to be broken as well.
@@newfie-dean5803 Thanks ! I would worry that I would break a snap off... Down here in the south we don't have the engine/oil electric heaters. We don't know when or where you plug them up. Do you plug up at work where you leave your car for hours? Do they have outlets at work and stores? ..... just rambling...
@@justwanderin847 it depends on where you are in Canada. They are really only needed for frigid cold. You can plug it in outside your house. Certain areas where frigid cold is common for long periods in winter, such as in Labrador, have places to plug in at work and at hotels and some apartment complexes. There will be plugin ports in front of each parking space. It allows for easy starting and interior heat that comes quickly after start-up. You typically only use that overnight but you can use it for long park times during the day such as at work.
