You seem to give the spanner sizes (which are surely obvious once the job’s under way, but not the torque setting which isn’t.

Soy de guatemala donde puedo conseguír amortiguadores delanteros para fiat panda 2012 1300cc 4x4.

Managed to get the first unit off the car and compressed the spring until everything was loose. But was totally defeated by the 27mm nut that holds the unit together. Actually "corkscrewed" an allen key but couldn't get it to move. Replacement nuts are not supplied with the new shocks, so I an reluctant to grind off the old ones. Any suggestions?

I don't understand, has the spring been washed or is it new as well?

might be a good idea to use brand new nuts and bolts and not refit the old ones?
