i love the way you take yoru time and so step by step on how to do things. i tried to replace my servo by myself and didnt notice the image on the back. so i shorted out my servo and blow my servo saver to pieces. thanks for your good work. you make this a lot easier for us newbies. keep up the great work
Un vero tutorial sulla manutenzione e sostituzione del servosterzo, ottima spiegazione e buone inquadrature mi aiuteranno a sostituire il pezzo, grazie del servizio
every other servo video I've seen on arrma 3s trucks don't take the whole electronic mount out and make this look like a serious headache. this makes it super simple, thank you
@@Hobby365 Yes it did. Got a 23T as replacement so I reused the servohorn. It seems that the 23T servo horn does not really fit und a Spectrum 23T replacement servo. Really bad. Had to put some pressure in to bring them together. At least it survived the first LiPo ride.
Excellent video. Specially newbies like myself these tutorials helps a lot . I have this truck v3 blx 3s version. Didnt have any issue yet but again only had few weeks now. Question- does this truck uses same size screw all around. Hex key correct or alan both same i think? Atleast during servo upgrade looks like you only need one size..
Great video. Helped to take it apart for sure. I need to replace my servo. I currently have a (ADS-5 5Kg) what would you recommend to replace it. It’s driven by an 8yr and an adult who acts like a kid🙋♂️. I’d like to upgrade but not very knowledgeable and need some advice.
I am so glad it helped. Really any servo above 100 oz-in of torque will work. Naturally I would recommend metal gear servos. The savox 0231 is a popular upgrade. One thing to keep in mind, you may need a new servo saver depending on what brand of servo you go with. if your servo horn is red you should be compatible with Futaba spline (25T) servos. Savox, protec, and futaba servos will be a good fit. Check out ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-xvuGJUExEpA.html. I did a video on upgrading the servo. Its in a typhon but the process is the same.
What model is that dealt screwdriver please? I’m looking at buying something along them lines, and this looks real smooth.. really appreciate your reply, thank you. And great informative video.. 👍🏼😎
If I were to buy another one I would get this model with the clutch. I got mine long before this one was available: www.amazon.com/DEWALT-DCF680N2-Gyroscopic-Screwdriver-Battery/dp/B00DL7QDS2/ref=sr_1_3?dchild=1&gclid=Cj0KCQiAs5eCBhCBARIsAEhk4r6YWzip6V1FtGw6MzJK7j1uZKjVxERUvMFHSZ4xW0mvA6KVCOeRj3UaAhUQEALw_wcB&hvadid=177794050724&hvdev=c&hvlocphy=9011015&hvnetw=g&hvqmt=b&hvrand=15573172452160895955&hvtargid=kwd-72400204703&hydadcr=1670_9901586&keywords=dewalt+8v+gyroscopic+screwdriver&qid=1615217630&sr=8-3
So i replace it in my senton 3s step by step just how u did urs n i am still having problems with it it does not want to turn full left or right It berly moves its a second servo i try. The first one i though was bad but now with a brand new n still no movement what should i try n do any tips will help thanks
I have seen some instances of something blocking the bell crank arms from moving. A rock, a stick, even a stray screw could cause the issue. Try disconnecting the servo arm from the servo and move the steering with out a servo attached. To make sure the steering is moving freely. If you strike out there you may need to replace the servo saver.
I dont have a video for a 25t servo however it is the same process you just need to replace the servi saver with a 25t one. You can use part number ARAC8883 or KIM200.
its been a pretty confusing process for a lot of us ive come to find. theres so many ways ppl have recommended to do it, and a lot of the parts you need are out of stock every where or noobs like me are un sure of the other options. maybe a good topic for a new vid.
I just purchased an arrma granite two weeks ago, I don’t abuse it or bash it hardly and my servo went out it won’t turn it does a buzzing sound and clicks when it tries to turn, brand new i hope arrma send me another one when i give them a call or hopefully my hobby town where i got it from can replace it
Same here they just sent me one this week bought it cpl weeks ago didn’t have them in stock till March so my hobby shop gave me an upgraded servo for there cost minus the cost of stock so I payed 10 bucks
Clicking noises is probably a stripped servo gear. That isn't normally covered by a "Warranty" as it is usually attributed to crash damage, but they may send you one anyway. Just give them a call and be honest. If you don't think you can tackle the repair defiantly reach out to your local Hobbytown.
@@nestorrangel6288 There are 3 different servo spline counts (ie: Spektrum is 23 tooth Hitech is 24 and futaba is 25) You probably have a servo that isn't compatible with your original servo saver.
