You didn't need to remove the large pulley. Once you released the tension there is enough room to roll it off the large pulley. Replacing it is just as easy. Put it on the small pulley first and roll it around the larger one till it's fully on.
I haven't opened it up yet, but is this essentially the same as the craftsman thrower from sears (rip) that looks, quite honestly, exactly the same? I think it's something like a 21", same colours abd everything
Good video--I see some wite threads on my paddles..Toro 3600 -.guess its time...but bigger issue is a screeching sound as I try to plow. I have to back up and try again...but it does not pick up much and only screeches. Any idea?
@@chrisschray8047 @ 1:17 upper right driveshaft pulley does not have its retaining bolt installed. It was not reinstalled before he reinstalled the outer cover.
@@ralphfraumeni6190 Ok Ralph I will over this one more time. Pause the vid at 1:16, he is pointing to the Engine Crankshaft Pulley which is the "Drive Pulley" Do you see a bolt holding the pulley to the crankshaft?
@@brianwaskow5910 OK. He called the plastic pulley the auger DRIVE pulley and the pulley that you initially called the drive pulley, the crankshaft pulley. Just a miscommunication. It's quite odd that the crankshaft pulley bolt is missing. Maybe this machine was going to need other work.
