Thanks a bunch. You are the first one who showed how to tighten and un-tighten the screws by skeeping one when you go around. Very helpful for a very short video.
This was the best and most organized video on the topic I found. And super appreciated as we had a rental and haven't needed to change a flat in years. Thank you!
One quick safety tip. Place the removed tire underneath the car just in case if the jack fails that tire will prevent the car from collapsing to the ground damaging parts.
Hi. Dad is on a job-related trip. He said I got figure out myself how to change tire myself.. Seeing this video, gives me courage enough to give it a try.. Thank you for your video 🙂👍
First of all, I am in tears. Single mother raised homie, and please believe me when I say I been calling road side service for years. Following my mom’s footsteps. I watched this video after a blowout last night. I don’t get paid til Friday, so I needed something to help me make this process simple and easy. Followed every single step!!! And lo and behold, I changed a tire!!! Now I’m thinking about all the times I paid $140 just to get a tire changed. Each one, teach one.
With the help of RU-vid we can all achieve success without having to pay someone to do the job for us. So many things I've learned on here. I'm just so grateful to RU-vid and I'm glad I could help pay it forward. Congratulations on overcoming the fear and getting it done. Think of all the other things you can accomplish. Thanks for watching and commenting. Much appreciated.
Same here, just found out I got a flat, I still a little scared to do it, bit I guess I dont have a choice since I'm a single parent. Gotta do what I gotta do.
Hey I really appreciate you making this. My father never taught me and I'm embarrassed I've never learned how to do it. I know it's relatively easy but just finding the jack point made me nervous. You reminding me about the parking brake was VERY helpful as since we swapped to the button rather than pull levers I would have absolutely forgotten to set it.
Thank you so much for this, the hubcap piece was giving me so much trouble and was starting to crack when I tried to take it off the way the owner’s manual showed. Took me maybe 45 seconds once I grabbed it from the center like you did!
Want to add, it's great you showed everything in detail even though I'm sure anyone experienced would want to skip ahead. I like watching everything in full detail first, even the boring minutia because I'll pick up a trick I wouldn't have thought of (like kicking the tire to loosen her)
I've never changed a tire in my life but have watched guys do it. This video was very helpful in jack placement. Today I got a flat going 60mph out of town and i really needed to get to my location to pick up my daughter so i watched this video and did it myself! I arrived right on time! Thank you🚗
I came across something that mentioned how most people don't know how to change their own tire in emergency situations and I was just like 'I'm gonna watch a video in advance so im prepared though hopefully I never have to use the info'. 💀🤣 I feel I'd be okay now to do it myself. Very well done in your instructions dude. Thank you. Saved it for hopefully not later. 😅
First of all this is a Toyota Corolla not a Camry, Secondly, you just loosened the lug nuts in the last step. You turn the nuts clockwise to tighten not counterclockwise. Hope you didn't drive like this,
@@roadsideguy5902 He's a Communist. He's pretending your video has "dangerous" information because he's trying to scare people away from being capable and independent. Or he's just a beta soy boy.
