Awesome. Simple and to the point.. I love how you're not giving me the full life story of the vehicle only giving me the information I need that's awesome
Very good Job with this video super comprehensive.... The LR2 is super reliable but jobs that are simple on most cars are often very complex on this car...
Thank you for taking the time to film and be in depth with this, my son and I purchased a lr2 in need of some love and this helped very much on the belt and pump replacement process.
Thank you so much for such amazing tutorial. You are a great help. One suggestion which can help you as well tremendously for views. In all your video titles you can mention lr2 3.2 petrol/ xc90 or other volvo model which use this engine so that all of us can find your videos easily who are new in the youtube search. There is hardly any tutorial with LR2 title on youtube. Who knows which landrover by lookin at the title. I came up to this channel don't know how. You can add that up which will be tremendous help for all who are searching this content. Keep it up. you are extraordinary. Thanks
Thanks for this, similar to my xc90. Few comments: Put new belt on water pump before remounting steering pump. Rotate bracket on water pump to engage the spring. Lower bolts on steering pump are very difficult to replace after removing. Otherwise very thorough
Just liked and subscribed! I have a Volvo XC70 2009. Believe it or not, your video came as a suggestion while trying to change and work on my faulty water pump. Really surprised the Landrover uses the same weaterpump. Recently my engine was overheating, and then I changed the thermostat. Now the engine is not over-heating, maintaining maximum 115 degrees celsius, but I see a leak and coolant dripping out from near the water pump / power steering area. I suspect due to the over heating of the engine, the rubber gaskets may have melted out, or if this unit has some sort of a ceramic sealing, it may have cracked. I see you have bought an aftermarket water pump kit. You installed this is early 2021. Now it is late 2022. How is your client's water pump holding up? Any information, guidance and knowledge sharing is appreciated, while I wait for my parts. Cheers!
Thanks for sharing the video I just checked a squeeling noise coming from serpentine belt area and when I turn off engine I hear the belt noise as well Any suggestion it's could be bad serpentine belt or anything else ?
I got a question, mine is running steady at almost 3/4 on the temp gauge. Slight leak on the back of motor trans side back of motor. There is a hose that has rad coolent on the hose but it just runs up the back of the motor into a hook and looks like a vent, when the water pump starts to leak is it possible the coolest leaks down from the pump on this hose?
Sorry about the delay. The plastic white piece is an alignment tool. It just holds the pump in place until bolts are in. Myself, I never use this piece.
