Thank you so much! My ended up with only high on my fan speed. I changed the burned out harness and the resistor, only to have it toast again. Blower motor is next! Thanks to you for your help!
Would this be the same for a 2016 trax? My ac won't turn on at all and it's Mississippi summer right now. I don't want to take it in if this is something that looks like I can do myself (except the pigtail) quicker than they'd be able to do it.
This is likely the problem with my 2013 Chevrolet Sonic. I've taken the glove box and bottom cover off, including the foot duct, but now I'm limited to a lack of tools to remove the motor. I have no socket set. Nor a utility knife. How hard is it to cut? I notice there's a housing covering part of the motor.
My mother's fan just quit working altogether. Resistor part was burnt. Changed Resistor and both burnt up worse. Replaced pigtail car harness part, and it started to do the same thing. Had resistor in my hand and it instantly got hot upon fan activation. Process of elimination/follow wires, had to be blower motor. THEN i found this video....😆. I should've looked for a video 1st
This is my second Chevy vehicle and my last not buying another! I changed my resistor my self last summer and now I can tell my blower is going out, making a loud noise when first starting. I really hate to get back up under there again, but I rather that then pay someone $400+ to change it!
I had the same problem on an 07 cobalt replaced the pig tail the blower moter and the resistor and never had the problem again got rid of the car a year later
hello, I need the blower motor for Ch. Trax 2013, and GMparts dont have the part, even the car does't exist in the web. how can I get it, please help. I'm y Panama, so i can buy it via Internet.
They did the same thing on the 07 chevy cobalt to me its stupid. But all these car companies mass produce so they go the easy and cheap way for them and don't care about the person who has to fix it later
