Ppl can definitely relate when they get into a car and wanna pair their phone. Yet there’s like 4 phone’s already saved that ya can pair to all of which are called “IPhone” so ya have no idea which saved one is yours.

you’ll be able to do that with ios 14 but for now you can only change the name of airpods and beats headphones

If ya want to change the name of the device you’re pairing to and not your phone name you can. Go to your Bluetooth pairing in settings. Select the “I” on the right hand side. It’ll say “name.” And from there you rename the device (car Bluetooth, Bluetooth speaker, headphones, or anything) to w/e ya want. Comes in handy for some cars who’s BT name is like “xzyducgys 2.0” or other weird things like that. Hope that was what ya were lookin for.

Doesn’t work. Followed the super easy process and changed the name 10 times and devices still call it the original name. So what’s the fix for that? Power cycled devices and factory reset them, restarted and reset the iPhone. Still nothing changes.

This is not wtf I asked for and this is not how u change “Bluetooth name” that’s called ur iPhone name so if anything happens to ur phone ppl know who’s phone it is 🙄🤦🏽‍♀️ not Bluetooth name Im talking about the actual Bluetooth name when u connection ur Bluetooth to something and u can click and change it so u know what Bluetooth it is and if ur clicking on the right Bluetooth
