i have the same problem and i think that it is the partition set by the manufacturer to fit only system original files perfectly and nothing elese. i dont have a solution
Great video, thank you. Unfortunately, I have found that Android 12 System files are now read only, and cannot be deleted, edited, or even written over with fastboot. But the video is very helpful and easy to follow for older phones, thanks!

Don't know why, my samsung galaxy s7 edge had root but the file is "qmg" and I searched everything and make my custom animation and I have 3 files including "loop, shutdown and start-up" but it didn't work...it only had every 5sec duration for my animation but I saw one of them works only in loop 3secs then. Can somebody help me for it? I just want some good animation.
