like most things with german luxury cars, simple stuff is never as simple as it could be, cuz it's GERMAN. Still, changing the cabin air filter isn't ridiculously hard. It does help if you are limber and have the tools you need. I can't say enough good about the headlamps - the one i used is super bright and really makes it a lot easier to see what you're doing in dark places like under the dash, under the car, in a tunnel... etc.
