I just checked the DRL again. I realized they will only come on when truck is in gear. Put the brake on, put in drive....BINGO...Thanks again.

Flip the rod up so it locked into the notch in the core support. You flipped it down and closed the hood it may rattle loose :)

which fuse feeds these 2 lights? I have no current at the socket? ..

I have the same model truck with moisture in the DRL just like this one. Drilled a 3/16" hole in the upper and lower opposing corners of the lens and it dried up and stays dry. My tuck DRL just burned out this morning. 17 years old got my money out of that bulb. Only replaced one other bulb since owning the truck new.

Curious, I have a 2004, silv 2500. The outside running lights go on, but the also flash white for turn signal. What the center lights do , and/or come on?? Thx

Excellent video. I just noticed that both of my DRL are out. When that happens I would suspect a fuse. What do you think?

Thanks. You don’t have to remove the running light lense case. Just reach down and remove the bulbs holder.

The shop said that bulb is an hour labor. Glad I didn’t pay up.

I notice that the bulbs have two filaments making me wonder if they can be put in backwards.

Good time to change to LED lightbulbs instead. Just noticed how burned and corroded the connector is!! Not good.

I’d recommend gloves. Keeps the oils from your hands off the bulbs

90% Of all chevys have one running light

Damn near every cateye Silverado you see running down the road has one out. Pain in the ass. Rarely is the bulb burned out. They wiggle loose.

and to think half the people up here don't even bother changing them ffs
