In this Excel Tutorial I will answer how to set the default font and font size for new workbooks. This is a really basic tutorial and a rather easy one. This feature of excel is easy to found and gives you access to your own style and taste. By changing default font & size you can change font across entire excel workbook. This tutorial is demonstrated on excel 2019 and works on excel 2010 to above. Let’s follow the instruction set a default font and size in excel.
Changing the default font requires you to access the backstage view of excel and you can access that by clicking on the File Menu.
Now that you are there you will have to click on Options and then the General Tab.
Now under the “When Creating New Workbook” select “Use this as default font”
Change default font in excel from here.
Right below that you will find font size and from here you can change the font size
