How to change default font in Word Set your favourite font as default in Word

Default font is the font that is automatically set as font in a new Ms Word document. However, if you are one of those who don't like Word to start with Default font, then you can set your favourite font as default.
Steps to change default font in Word
1. Right-click anywhere in the document and click “Font” to open Font dialogue box
2. In Font Tab, set the desired “Font”, “Font style”, “Size”, Font colour and other settings (as per requirement)
3. Click “Set as Default”
4. Select “All documents based on the Normal.dotm template?”, to set above font style as default font for all Ms Word documents.

Hi I wrote a document in Times New Roman font size 10 to make it fit the pages. I need to print the text on paper. Is font size 10 good for printing? Is it too small? On the PC it looks ok.

Thank you very much. This tutorial helped me a lot. I successfully changed default font from the stinky Calibri to the beautiful Times New Roman. I hate Calibri. It resembles me on a lot of bad things. One of them is the corporal punishment. Font Calibri resembles me on someone who is authoritarian and who uses corporal punishment (for example. hitting with the belt). Thus I hate that font. Font is also unappealing, it looks stinky and, due to presence of slightly rounded corners, childish. I need to tell that font Calibri should be destroyed and removed. That trash of font Calibri should go to hell and burn into pieces. I even think about deleting that font via Regedit (although I fear that I might corrupt the system). Thankfully, this video helped me to get rid of that font. And whenever I see font Calibri, I get mad and annoyed. Calibri is the worst font in the Universe.

@@pickupbrain One update: I bought a new computer (laptop) and changed default font to the Cambria. Font Cambria is a beautiful font, and is a great alternative to the Times New Roman (and it feels like a much more powerful version of Times New Roman). I will use Cambria whenever I write document or something. And I will avoid font Calibri. Font Cambria is an excellent and beautiful font and Calibri is weak and sluggish.
