Never tried to do this before... Now my win 11 is fully updated and was trying this solution for changing windows font and it doesn't work... After opening reg file, system says that changes were done but after restarting system no changes are made.

Registry is giving me a problem, it's saying that the registry file i exported wasn't a registry script for some reason, and that i can only import binary registry files from within the registry editor, even though i right clicked and used "Open With" and pressed Registry editor like you said. Just me?

Cannot import The specific file is not registry script. You can only import binary registry files from within the registry editor. File was saved as .REG File looks same as in the video with the blue squares.

Not working fine... Search box on taskbar can be opened but it's empty and not work. I recommend for all people, create registry backup before do this, becaus if you have some problems, you can easily roll back changes.

@@iamrazdai I created registry backup before apply changes. So i simply loaded backup and its ok. If you dont have backup, you can use system restoration point or change registry values manually.

It says cannot import users then my name (cant tell ya) then desktop then comic sans font.reg: the specified file is not a registered script, you can only import binary registry files from within the registry editor, im on windows 11 pro btw

Works, but the change is so subtle that it's not worth doing it. And I'd personally suggest to just create a restore point just in case.

Hello, I have a lot of trouble reading the blue system font in Windows 11 and would like to change the font color to black (as it's been since before win 3.1). for some reason it doesnt let me type anything in the windows search bar, which is something i use a lot. Dunno whats happening. It broke my pc and i cant shut it down because he put nothing in the description. I can only open up chrome, and this has not changed after days. Disliked.

it happened to me also ,we cant resolve that issue i have tried almost every solution provided(to fix the broken search bar) in The Web ,So you need to create a new account in your PC/laptop and use that account as administrator ,to know how to do it, search How to Add User Account On Windows 11 - Create New User Account Windows 11 by Sombex.
