Maybe Park it pointing downhill on blocks or ramp? That filter and drain port were not well thought out. That alone has me thinking that this isn't going to be the best purchase for us.
We found that it was best to change the oil overnight. We could open it up and just let it drain. Horrible design. As I responded to you earlier, we no longer own this machine and have moved on.
Unfortunately, that tier 4 engine will be nothing but trouble in the not so distant future. Also, it's painfully expensive to repair anything on them. At the least, the dingo 1000 has a remote engine oil filter right on the front under the hood. They really missed that on the new ones.
I had one blow and it was on the left side. The easier side! It was a major pain in the arse to get to. You just had to dig in and do most of it by feel. That machine is gone and I do not miss it!
@@WorkshopAddict not surprised, I’ve had mine happen twice now. 2022 Year Plaque. First time in 45 minutes of delivery, second time about 5 hours later. First time the dealer has taken care of it and cleaned it etc but now I’m getting long in the tooth about it on the second time. I’ve had a loaner for a week now. If it happens again I’m having them buy it back. If you don’t mind me asking what did you switch to?
@Ranger5250 I have a Deere 325G for larger work and a Baumalight 60D on the way for small stuff. I will have some videos out on everything when the snow settles.
