It worked. I could not use the + or - to change position but the page up, page down worked. Also I could not use my usb keyboard to change it, but a regular multi pin keyboard worked. Thank you.

Hi. The advanced BIOS page on my Gigabyte AM3 motherboard looks exactly the same as in the video, but the Removable boot option is not listed even though I have the Windows installation USB drive plugged in. The available choices are CDROM, Hard Drive, ZIP, FDD, LAN, and USB-Hard Drive/FDD/ZIP/CDROM. Does this sound like a possible format issue? Does the USB drive have to be plugged in for the Removable setting to appear?

Hello Miguel! In order to be asked to choose from which device to boot, all the four devices should be set to "Disabled"?

We have a Dell i3 model running Windows 7 Home edition. We can't get past the Dell spash screen. Will reinstalling the OS be possible if stuck on splash screen...Can not get into safe mode, just stuck on splash screen. Thanks....Philip

thanks. But why do you have to press any key to boot from your 1st cdrom if you have a bootable cd inside already? Shouldn't already boot auto. since it's your first choice?

it doesnt detect me pressing any key at all, and after some seconds it just starts the HDD OS any reason as to why? a fix? a way for it to automaticly do it without input?

When I do this and by the way my disc is inserted it just loads up normally and gives me an error message an operating system wasn't found. Try disconnecting and drives that don't contain an operating system. Help please

Ive done this. I set my boot priority to my cd/dvd drive first, then hdd. I never get that mag to press button to boot from cd. The computer still goes straight to hdd and doesnt even try booting from cd. So? I got MSI bios. How am i supposed to boot from cd when the bios igores my boot priority?

It is only showing cd/DVD option it is not showing any other option . And only showing 1st boot device. And it was already choosen as cd/ DVD and I pressed f10 but the same problem is still there. Please suggest the solution for that.

MY Bios settings showing Harddisk memory. But under advanced tab It is showing sata port-1( harddisk) not present sata port-2 (Dvd Writer) is Present.. Under preformance tab it is showing to clear Cmos..
