Thank you for providing this information. It is overwhelming to do a career change when you know you have ATS systems working against you, and hard-specific skills are required for switching into Tech roles, but this video helped to keep me grounded and provide a process of key things to work on.
Please don't crucify me for this, but what can you do if 1. you don't have a network, and 2. even if you did have one, it would only be of assistance if you wanted to stay in the industry your already in?

For as long as agency ATS systems are the gate keepers, you can forget trying to change careers. It doesn't matter what you want to do or what skills you have, the computer will burn your CV/resume before anyone reads it.
I'm afraid Strider is right. VOX published an excellent article about this; it accounts for why "everyone is hiring but no one is getting hired" in a post-pandemic America.
