OK so for the beginners- your 3 way will be placed in 9 oclock position and your multipurpose valve (valve on top of filter) will be put on close (always turn off your pump before changing settings on your multipurpose valve) - plug the jet before removing ionizer pipe otherwise water will pour. Once those steps are completed- you can begin removing old ionizer and installing new one.
Why change an ionizer once a year if it’s still in good working order the next year, and will it last longer if you take it off during the closing season?
@@ContractorPoolPro ok, thank you so very much! There’s so many things that the installation people do NOT tell the buyer(s). Now I need to find someone to install a brand new liner because of some other things that they failed to mention. The company said that they would do it but I would have to pay $752 for the liner and $1,800 for the installation of the liner. This amount is what I’ve already paid because of another lie that they told me. It makes me sick to my stomach to know now what I didn’t know then !!!
