I think a lot of books use this in the first chapter. They start with a story of the author being naive about sth and then surprise you with the main idea 💡
Hm... 🤔 maybe we should add to that discussion the fact that plastics not really decompose but become micro or nano plastics that contaminate the whole sea food chain since the fitoplancton so we probably can die from the contaminated food before even suffer really bad effects from greenhouse gas effect? Nice technique! Btw, love your in depth but (almost) short videos. 😉
I'm truly in love with your channel!! I've never found a singular one that taught me THIS much about communication. Really, I'm addicted to your content and am hopping from one video to the other. Great work and thanks!
I cannot tell you how much I love your teachings. Thank you so much for all your hard work to learn and acutely communicate these principles with us. It has freed me so much to think better, and more clearly! Truly a blessing. Thank you!
Hi. I have only found your channel a day ago but so much of your content has been helpful. I still haven't quite got to grips with the zettelkasten approach and the obsidian app but I will persist. This vlog here, however, about persuading people makes a lot of sense. I really appreciated the house analogy because it made me also realise that there could be some collateral damage by persuading people to question their core beliefs too quickly. I don't want their house to cave in, or mine for that matter. Anyway, thank you
Excellent! This video changed my mind on this channel. It is not only a good channel but an excellent channel. I am following all notifications instead of personalised ones after subscribing.
OMG I love your hairstyle!...hmm hmm, sorry, Your Presentation was exceptional and your content is always "worth the watch" - Keep up the Good work, Vicky!
Hello Vicky, good morning 🌅! Great video, I liked it much! This is the first time I publish a comment in any of your videos. Very interesting your speech and the insights that you took. Congratulations for your work that you have done on RU-vid. I send you a hug and greetings from Sonora, México 🇲🇽... 👍
Another great video, Vicky! Some of this material reminded me of a book by Eyal Winter, "Feeling Smart," which covers the way emotion affects our reasoning. It tracks with a lot of what you shared here, even though the book isn't specifically focused on persuasion. It's a fascinating read if you're looking for more sources on this subject.
This was great, thank you for sharing! As a vegan I feel obligated to speak for the voiceless animals, but advocating for veganism is a skill to be developed as the backfire effect is particularly strong - only ethical vegans are more despised by the public than drug addicts.
you are damaging your health and of your children if you force the same alien thing in them humans evolved thanks to eating meat at least leave real humans alone going own weird way back on tree
Who has the passion to wait 1000 years to see if the plastic bags decompose That’s not possible but the possible thing is a billionaire changes are minds to sell bags
