Thanks for this video. Just did this on my mk3 GTi and it worked out fine. Took all afternoon flushing tho - the car had been sitting mostly idle for 27 years 😮. And getting that bottom clip back on was def the hardest bit.

I think you can only get them in 1L and 5L bottles. Get the 5L concentrated which will give you 10L when mixed 50/50 with water and you'll have loads left for top ups or even a flush

Is this how I get to the FCM underneath? My fan doesn’t shut off after coolant over flow and I believe that module is the reason. Also it gets very hot. What do you think?

I'd plug it in to make sure coolant temp sensor isn't faulty aswell

@@Project7YT the coolant temp stays at normal half way . But when I shut the car off even when it’s cold the fan stays on and never shuts off untill the battery dies

@sniperpaintcorrection6790 there should he 2 sensors though, one for the cluster and one for the ecu, it's worth checking. It's normal for the fans to run after you shut the car off aswell

@@Project7YT no they run the second I plug them back in soon as they get power . Even if the car sits untill the next day . My fan coolant module gets very hot also. Idk if it’s faulted from coolant over flowing on it
