Gday Mate Cat filters have way smaller holes in them and catch smaller particles which is better, but they need changing more often. Any water that was in the bottom of your old fuel/water separator, you just poured into your new one, maybe not a good idea. You can save yourself a lot of money by doing your own maintenance Take Care
I like the fact you put grease on the filter gasket instead of oil,,,Also one thing you should do,,In all the thousands of oil change videos on YT,,I have only seen one guy recommend this,,,Before you put the oil filter on ,,Clean the treads on the filter,,,You won't believe the amount of sworf on them from the factory,,That's going into your bearings,,Marty T was the YT channel ,,,
@@Mr_NoDaysOff not bashing you, I've done a bunch of research on oil filters, Cat and Purolator are probably the highest quality you can buy, fleetgaurd is ok to, you might consider upgrading your filter system if you want more longevity
What’s up Mr .. I live in the area I see you rolling up and down 77 I do flat bed I will blow the horn at ya next time I see you I’m in a orange international pretty cool to see a local doing his thing 🤙
I change them every time I change my oil which is once a month. Sometimes I may go 6 weeks instead of 4 weeks. Sometimes the filters make it 6 weeks, sometimes they don’t. I run 15k-20k miles in 4-6 weeks.
